- 17,000 hours of on-the-job training under a Texas-licensed Master Electrician (8,000 hours required for full licensure)
- 2Submit Experience Verification Form signed by each supervising Master Electrician

How to Apply
All persons performing non-exempt electrical work in Texas must be licensed by TDLR. A Journeyman Electrician license requires at least 7,000 hours of on-the-job training under a licensed Master Electrician, plus passing a licensing exam. The application fee is $30 and licenses renew annually.
